High school cross country  is when Alissa realized her love for running and endurance sports.  She received a track & field/cross country scholarship to attend Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC.  She was chosen to run the 3000 meter steeplechase for her team when it was introduced to the NCAA for women for the first time in 2002. She currently holds the Western Carolina school record for this event , which was set in 2004. After graduating college, Alissa continued pursuing her love of endurance sports. Justin has spent the better part of his life on two wheels. His cycling experience ranges from multiday self supported touring to skatepark/street riding and to say Justin is passionate about all things with two wheels is putting it lightly. He grew up racing the national BMX circuit, and spending most of his daylight hours on his backyard BMX track and hasn’t stopped living a lifestyle focused on all things two wheels since.
